New Day New Start

Have been really of plan for the last few weeks just cant seem to get into gear and get motivated. Havnt been to Slimming World for four weeks either so am going back to my old Monday group as I loved it there and have missed the girls so have moved my shifts around so I can go on that night.

Dreading WI was at target but bet I am not now so will probably have to pay tonight but it will be worth it to get back on track. If I am out of target I think I will move my target to 12stone to give me a bit of inspiration but if not I will stay with target at the moment just to give me a boost.

Find it hard on days I work as food is to accesable and all the wrong foods to but have decided that as I only work 3 days a week 2 x 12 hr shifts and 1 x 6 that on the 12hs will eat normal meals at work and the 6hr shift and the days of will do slimming world so wish me luck. Have started my food diary up again and will put the weight I am tonight at the begining of the week so if I get a good lose week I can look back and see what I ate and the same if I get a bad week.

Totally Lost It

Oh dear have not been on here for a while and have lost al motivation. Keep saying back on to plan again tomorrow but tomorrow never seems to come :-( Been busy with cake making as well and I so wish I could stop eating the mixture but its just like putting sweets in front of children and telling them they cant eat them. I have just got no will power at the moment.

It isnt helping that I am a bit stressed at work and for some reason I am getting cravings for a cigarette wouldnt mind but gave up smoking 9 years ago. It seems that when I get these cravings for a smoke I go for food instead.  :-(

Spent today making cakes with my grandchildren had a lovely day but still ate two muffins and had marmite on toast so naughty of me I know but just cant seem to stop myself.

Made a lovely chilli for tea then followed it with a Magnum and half an hour later ate two packets of crisps. I just cant seem to stop eating even when I am not hungry I am munching on something. My worst time is when I am working and we do the tea for the residents with sandwiches, & cake and I just cant resist. Maybe the only way for me to go is to shut myself in a cupboard and someone feed me through the gap.

I found it easier to give up smoking at least then I said no with dieting I still have to eat. Will I ever get my motivation back :-((

Update & New Job

Started new Job on Monday and wasn't to bad felt a little like a fish out of water as had to keep asking what to do. The staff member's I met were all lovely and kind and the residents were not to bad either. Was glad when 2pm came tho.

Went in Tuesday for my 2nd day and still felt a bit awkward but did do a bit more today and also was asked to do an 8-8 shift by the time the day was over I was shattered and my legs ached from my knees down to my toes and my ankles felt like they had been kicked. But al in all it was a good day and I did a lot more and learnt a lot more than I did on Monday

Today was a lot more easier as I had a better idea of what to do and could do a few more things without asking. 

As for the slimming world plan not going to good this week but not gonna beat myself up as need to settle in job  before worrying about eating and I know it will happen. Made me feel a bit better knowing my consultant has put on 19lb over Christmas just shows it can happen to the well trained consultants to. 

Not doing to well with knitting as have been so tired when I get home so am still knitting Thomas and as he is a lot bigger than I expected will take me longer than expected. Still waiting for my pansie pattern.

New Years Day

Well here it is again another New Years Day. After having a lovely evening spent with Elaine & Tony our neighbours and after a few vodkas we all went out in there garden and watched the fireworks was a lovely evening.
I didn't feel like I had a lot to drink but woke up at about 3 with a stinking headache but after taking 3 paracetamol's and a bottle of water soon went back to sleep

When I woke up this morning felt very heady and stodgy only today to go then am going back on my slimming plan I feel so stodgy.

Managed to get all my orders made up this morning for Magic Lady Crafts but still dont seem to be having any sales on Nobles Gifts will leave it a bit longer just to see what happens. Not to bad really as only cost me £10 a month and dont have to keep any stock in. Hopefully will get some orders in for Mothers day.

Spent some time with Jay and Lindsey this afternoon its nice spending time with them wish the atmosphere could be better with Judey & Michael as would love to spend more time with them one day.........

Start my new job tomorrow started to feel a bit scared how I hate new jobs cant wait till I have been there a few weeks.

Started a new knitting project and am going to knit Thomas the Tank Engine and a couple of his friends

Just ordered this pattern

Was looking for some flowers to knit to make bouquets for mothers day and found this pattern and just couldnt resist. Only cost me £2 so cant complain

My Plan

After a lovely Christmas and New Year my plan is to be back on plan by Monday a new year and a anew me. I also start my new job on Monday so its onwards and upwards as they say. Monday night is also weigh in night. 

I will not be surprised if I have a gain just hope its not to much. Was 12.7 when I weighed in last just before Christmas so hopefully wont have done to much damage.

Decided to take some photos and measurements for the record as my aim is to reach my target of 10stone by my birthday April 25th will take more photos on the 1st of each month
