Just ordered this pattern

Was looking for some flowers to knit to make bouquets for mothers day and found this pattern and just couldnt resist. Only cost me £2 so cant complain

My Plan

After a lovely Christmas and New Year my plan is to be back on plan by Monday a new year and a anew me. I also start my new job on Monday so its onwards and upwards as they say. Monday night is also weigh in night. 

I will not be surprised if I have a gain just hope its not to much. Was 12.7 when I weighed in last just before Christmas so hopefully wont have done to much damage.

Decided to take some photos and measurements for the record as my aim is to reach my target of 10stone by my birthday April 25th will take more photos on the 1st of each month

New Years Eve

Been a busy day today took the Christmas Decorations down and cleaned my house from top to bottom and de cluttered it again. All nice and clean now for the New Year and me going back to work on Monday to my new job.

Went shopping this afternoon and filled cupboards again not bad only £62 and I treated myself to a large bottle of olay as my face is full of spots. Probably down to eating a load of rubbish.

Going out toning to the neighbours for drinkies so wont be optimising tonight last time before I go back on the wagon.

Summers Birthday

 I cant believe that my granddaughter is 9 it only seems like the other day we were watching her being born. As her mum was working Summer and the boys came and spent a couple of hours with us today so I put on a little party lunch for her.

Lindsey came up with Lexie & Louie and Summers best friend Ellie came to. Summer had a great time.

 Must admit I was absolutely shattered when they all left. It didnt help that I had another migraine getting really fed up with them now getting one a week at the moment.

Summers Birthday Cake

Have spent the afternoon icing and decorating Summers Cake (granddaughter) for her birthday on Thursday I hope she likes it. Her mother wasnt to appreciated about it all I got from her when I showed her a picture was yeh its ok. A thank you and its lovely would have been nice.

Cash Machine again

Why cant my children show me some gratitude occasionally all I am to my daughter is a baby sitter and a cash machine. Yet again today she has rung up for me to lend her money again only for a couple of days as she has put the money in my pay pal account but I cannot access that for three days. Wouldn't mind but she is so unappreciative. The only time I here from her these days is if she wants something. I have tried so hard to get close to her but dont think its going to happen she is to much like her father only room for one person in her life and thats her

To keep the costs down have been knitting from free patterns on the internet and found this pattern for Peppa Pig so thought it would be fun to knit. Christmas Day

Well it came and went, had a really quiet one this year, not that I am complaining. It was nice not having to go to work. We spent yesterday evening with Jay & lins and the children and this morning Judy came over with the children to get there Christmas presents and brought me a box of chocolate.

Mick brought me a load of little gifts as I did him but the best thing was our fire it made the front room look so warm and cozy.

We had lunch about three o'clock had a Prawns to start with followed by a lovely steak diane and then christmas pudding.

Been really good today apart from a few sweeties havent pigged out to much but guess I would have put weigh back on when I go to slimming world next Monday but only to be expected. Said I would eat what I wanted till Thursday then have three good days till go to weigh in on Monday will have to see what happens lol

Christmas Presents

When Mick got stood down again we decided only to buy Christmas presents for the kids and we wouldn't buy any for ourselves, but the closer it got to Christmas the more I thought about this and we decided we couldn't have Christmas with no pressies so we decided to take £50 each and go and buy silly presents for each other. Today I went out and brought Mick fourteen presents with my £50 and got some lovely pressies and came home with some change. So it proves a point that Christmas can be done on a budget. Unfortunalty while I was  out saw the fire we have been looking for ever since we did our front room and it was reduced from £180 to £80 just couldn't miss this bargain. Spoke to Mick and we ended up buying it so at the end of the day we spent £100 on each other for Christmas but it is a lovely fire and sets of the front room lovely

What I have Knitted so Far

Really enjoying knitting havn;t done it for years but as said in an earlier post started doing it again to keep my mind of eating and so far it is working and has become an addiciton. I have even sold a couple so thats even a bigger bonus as that was not the idea but at least if I sell a couple it will pay for more wool and not cost me anything and in the meantime I am loosing weight. All I can see is a win win situation here.

Back on Track

Started this week with a  couldnt care less attitude and put myself in a frame of mind that what the hell Christmas is round the corner so wouldnt bother now till after. Well its now Thursday and as am not going for weigh in again till next Thursday as have got to baby sit for grandkids next monday have  pulled myself together and have decided that will carry on because if I dont will have a lot more to get rid of after Christmas. With that in mind went to Tesco and brought 2 melons, bag oranges, bag bananas and some kiwis and it only came to £5.68 when I think that is what my hubby spends on ciggies a day was very pleased with my buy.

Came home and chopped up an apple, bananan, orange 1/4melon and a kiwi and now have got two lovely bowls of fresh fruit for my breakfast with a yoghurt. Am going to make a page up on here for my weekly menus and will note at the end of the week whether I have had a gain or a loss and see what food is working and what isnt.

New Job

Yeh got the starting date for my new job 2nd January cant wait. Wont miss this job at all really had enough of not being supported by my managers. They were not to happy but thats life.

Update

Not been on here for a while so thought it was time to catch up. Not been doing to well with the slimming. Went to slimming world tonight hoping to get my stone award as was only 1lb away only to find I had gained 3lb so yet another week not to get my stone award.

Didnt get to down tho as not been a hundred percent and have had a couple of naughty days but wasnt expected a 3lb gain.

Not Again

Been a very lean year and yet again just before Christmas Mick gets stood down at work. This is the third Christmas now that this has happened but never mind we will plod on as usual. Decided that we would only buy for the kids this year as money was tight and we wouldn't spend to much on food especially as I am supposed to be loosing weight.  I am hoping that I will hear from Wantsum lodge soon as really would have liked to start before Christmas fingers crossed.
