Well its now been two weeks since I changed from Extra Easy to alternating red & green days and cant make up my mind whether to stay on red & green or have a week of EE. Lost 31/2lb last week and am hoping that this week I will get my one stone shiny.
Will have a red day today and see what happens at weigh in tonight to decide what to do with the rest of the week.

Xmas Teddy - Knitting to stay Slim

Went to Hobby Craft and found a great pattern book with 20 to make knitted bears by Val Pierce. Was a bit disappointed with this book. When I got home I looked closer and there is only one pattern for a teddy the rest of the patterns are for clothes and different ways to dress the teddy. That will teach me to look a bit closer before I buy.
All that taken into consideration it is a good book and gives me lots of things to do to keep my hands occupied and not eat.
Knitted Holly Christmas Bear from the book but not sure where I went wrong as the dress is now bigger than the teddy and I found the teddy face very confusing when I had to sew it up as it stiched as a triangle and you had to fold it a certain way. When I had folded it, it looked nothing like the picture. After about 20 minutes of trying to get it to look like the picture I ended up folding it my way and stiching it up. As for the size I think I must have gone wrong on the body of the teddy as the rows were correct on the dress. Will have to make another one of these soon just to see if it comes out ok.
Stictch her face and body put some stuffing in and put on her dress which now looks as she has a lovely red Christmas dress on.

Food Omptimising
Had a great food optimising day today. Had egg on toast for my brekkie.
Having a red day today and didnt have any soup for my lunch so opened a tin of stewing steak and cooked some cauli, carrots, and swede and blitz the lot a lovely beef and veggie soup and all free.
Had a tuna and cucumber sandwich with it with 1tbls mayo 1syn and a nice lemon dessert syn free made with fromage frais lemon juice and sweetner
For me dinner had beef casserole with loads or veggies and a jacket spud followed by a home made trifle which run in at 6syns
Supper I had 3 rice cakes 4.50 syns and 3tsp of chocolate spread 3syns and an options drink 2.50syns so really good day and really full up
syns for the day were woops 17syns but all worth it and only had 8 yesterday so still on track

Something to do to stop me nibbling
Was having real problems with nibbling and always wanting to pick as was not doing anything in the evenings whilst watching TV. I used to cross stitch but the eyes are getting to bad now for reading the patters. Thought of loads of things to do but couldnt do them while watching tv. I then had a brainwave and decided to knit toys.
Toys are great to knit as they dont take long to do so can do one in a couple of nights and have it finished. Which is great for me. People who know me know that when I start a project I cant wait to finish it and start another but wont have more than one on ago at a time.
My first toy of the production line is Rupbet Bear he is only a little mini Rupert Bear and only took me a couple of nights to do but he did the job and kept my hands busy.

At Last a loss - Yeh
As I said in another post decided to do a Red/Green week to see if that would kick start something as stayed the same for the last four weeks and was getting really fed up. In fact was getting very close to giving up especially as I sit at the SW meetings and here all these people with 4-5lb loses and not optimised at all. But at last it has worked and I have lost another three and half pounds puts me at 12st 7lb now only 2lb to go to get my 1 stone award.

Maintained again :-((
Maintained again not a happy bunny just cant seem to get past 12st 10lbs been that weight now for four weeks up down up down.
Have decided to not go up the gym this week just to see if that maybe is the problem as sometimes exercising can build muscle and not lose pounds and at the moment I want to lose lbs can tone up later.
Will have to see what next weeks weigh in brings. Have joined a couple of slimming world pages on Face Book so hopefully that might help

Had a week of Ups and Downs
Week started of very good make a couple of family birthday cakes. Thomas for my grandson, and a letter cake for my darling husband Mick.
Also had loads of orders for sweet cakes and sweet cones. Made a lovely halloween sweet cake for someone haveing a belated party, and an order for 25 birthday sweet cones so all in all a very busy week.

This was scrummy and filled with spiders, skulls, snakes and lots or ghoulie sweets
